With the warmer weather fast approaching, now is a great time to get your back garden spring time ready.
The warmer weather is a great excuse to get outdoors, catch some rays and of course, knock a few items off your to-do list so you can enjoy entertaining outdoors!
If you’re like me, you've been putting off your garden maintenance for a while now, blaming the wet weather. Well, spring has sprung and now it’s time to spring into action and get through those jobs so as the temperature rises, you can sit back and relax.
Here’s a few tasks that I'll be tackling in the next few weeks.
TRIM TREES & HEDGES
It;s a great time to prune back those overgrown hedges and hanging branches, tidy things up and make sure the garden is a safe place for your family to spend time, A quick once over your hedges with our HEDGE TRIMMER will not only neaten them up, but it’ll encourage new growth, making them look fuller & thicker.
When it comes to hanging branches, they pose a safety risk. With our POLE PRUNER, we can help you reach those awkward branches and remove them safely without any hassle.
GIVE YOUR LAWN SOME LOVE
An overgrown lawn can make your entire property look neglected (like mine)! Warmer weather will encourage new growth, so it’s best to get on top of it now before it gets too out of control. Grab yourself our LAWN MOWER or ZERO TURN MOWER depending on the size of your block. We also can help you with the edging. Get those clean looking paths and beds and be the best looking garden on the street with our EDGER.
If you really want to stand out and make your neighbours jealous, you might want to consider using our AERATOR. An aerator works by pulling plugs of soil out of the lawn, allowing air and water to move freely through the soil. This will definitely encourage and create a healthier, more fuller looking lawn - your neighbours are bound to have lawn envy!
PATHWAYS, DRIVEWAYS & STEPS
This is my least favourite task - after doing the laundry that is! Cleaning the outdoor areas like driveways and paths will make a huge difference to the appearance of your property. A BLOWER is a great way to remove debris quickly off paths, drives and steps.
If you’re like me, and you've neglected yoru outdoors all winter, you’ve probably got a good build up of dirt and leaves. Cleaning them regularly can avoid the many problems that come with wet weather and slippery, dirty surfaces.
Using a PRESSURE CLEANER to give those pavers a good freshen up will make the world of difference.
